Our Story
Your first taste becomes a moment etched in your memory,
complete with the surroundings, the company, the music in the background - the experience lingers long after the glass is empty. And then you chase that feeling, searching for the point in time where the first sip left you speechless, in awe of what’s to come. That moment for us was on our honeymoon in Italy. We had our perfect bottle of Brunello di Montalcino, paired with a stunning sunset over the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, and a Bisteca Fiorentina. That memory has stayed with us for 25 years.
The creation of Apogia Wines stems from our passion and desire to craft special wines
that can be shared with friends, both old and new. To take our love and understanding of wine to the next level we enrolled and earned our wine making credentials at Cornell University.
Our philosophy is that wine is not only about the liquid in the bottle, but the stories, experiences, and connections it fosters. Apogia Wines emerges not just as a winery, but as a vessel for creating cherished moments, and sharing the joy and beauty found in a well-crafted bottle of wine.
